Sometimes (often, but not everytime) while editing already typed text, pressing the spacebar on my Note 5 creates a new line. Space bar is acting like enter. I could be in the middle of a line and it will start a new line. How can I fix this?

Edit: Now its copying and pasting random text anywhere it feels like in a document.
According to check my android, my screen is fine. This is a software issue.

If you are using stock keyboard, go to settings, applications, application manager. At top right click more and click show system apps. Click on Samsung keyboard. Click on storage and click clear data and click clear cache.
You can try clear cache first to see if that works. That way you won't have to reset your keyboard settings.
If you have a 3rd party keyboard, you will find it in the all apps screen in application manager.

There does not appear to be a "storage" option under Samsung Keyboard. Just "settings" and "stop." Clicking on settings does not bring up anything pertaining to storage.

Some carriers decide to remove some of those options.
You can click on settings in the screen you have there and find reset keyboard.
If that doesn't work, press and hold the gear icon to the left of the space bar on your keyboard. Click on the gear icon in that dialogue box and that will take you to settings. At the bottom of the settings screen, click on reset settings and then reset keyboard settings.
Instead of a gear icon to the left of the space bar, you may have a T symbol.
