I have the note 8 Verizon version. The samsung spam call block feature in the phone settings seems to be missing. Anyone else having this issue?

I was so used to using the spam blocker on my pixel xl. Hoping for any ideas...

That's the Verizon app. I'm looking for the spam setting that is supposed to be cooked right into the calls settings from Samsung. Seems to have been omitted on the Verizon version.

Sorry about that. Yeah when I go to the call settings only thing I got is block numbers.

I have the block numbers but not a spam filter. Verizon. But I didn't have a spam filter on my Verizon Pixel either. Just the block numbers.

Same issue with mine, only on Sprint. Sprint support has asked me to take it to a shop locally to have a look at it, as it has not been disabled on their end. Weird.

Samsung most likely removed the default filter from their model since they want you to use their Caller ID app which costs monthly.

This is most likely the same reason for Sprint.

AT&T / T-Mobile offer spam blocking for free. Sprint / Verizon charge monthly.

This is true. I just switched to AT&T and its nice having the product for free. Although you can download the app from the play store that is essentially the same thing. From Hiya. It's the same company. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ls?id=com.webascender.callerid&token=VY3KyVpv
