Spam posts showing in Tapatalk

Recently I've seen a huge increase in the number of spam posts showing up in the forum. Any way these can be filtered out? It's really a major pain.

It's not just Tapatalk, it's on the forum itself.
It seems to go in cycles.
Unless you are using the free version of Tapatalk, that's a whole different kettle of fish.

I don't usually log in directly to the forum, but I may do so today to see if there is anything else that can be done.

I know on some forums if a trusted member flags a post as spam it gets hidden till a mod deals with it...

We're aware. Currently all we can do is spam ban them as they come in. Our Community Manager is checking to see if there are more robust ways to catch them before they can post.

I've learned to just report the user & not every single individual post they make.

Can you do that from Tapatalk, or so you have to log in to the forum directly. I would certainly do that!

I really don't know. I quit using Tapatalk & the Android Central App built on Tapatalk. I just use my web browser now.

[off-topic] I'd not come across Tapatalk before and looked it up. It has lousy reviews.

Interesting. I may try that myself. Tapatalk sure isn't helping my browsing experience, that's for sure!

Tapatalk does have a report spam feature. I'm not a mod on Windows Central but am able to report spam.

A lot of you guys I want take a moment to appreciate you reporting them , we got them under control and bounce the spam out pretty quickly with your help but we are available pretty much around the clock to catch them .
