Spam / virus ware for droids?

I usually run Norton or Adaware on my pc but do I need to run any programs on my Verizon dinc 2 to protect it?

I understand. The search function here is not exactly stellar. I actually subscribe to some older reference threads just because they can be hard to pull back up through the search.
