Spanish for stock Android keyboard

Long press the microphone. Select input options. Deselect use system language. Pick another language from the list.

I would like to have both English and Spanish available to use.

  1. Go into Settings > Language & Input.
  2. Under Keyboards & Input Methods, tap the settings icon next to Android keyboard (AOSP), assuming that's the keyboard you are using.
  3. Select Input language.
  4. Deselect "Use system language."
  5. Select the languages you wish to have enabled.

That should give you simultaneous multi-language support. ;)

In settings, language & input, tap the icon to the right of Android Keyboard, input languages, deselect use system language, then you can select multiple languages. When you type a tiny keyboard appears in the notification bar, pull down to select the language of choice

Thanks gnr_2 and still 1 for your help. Got English and Spanish now.

No problem. The other two posters also listed alternate ways to get to the keyboard settings. Those come in handy if you ever download another keyboard and want to switch between them.
