Spare chargers- Will any USB micro 2.0 one work?

I realize that the Note 3 comes with the micro 3.0 charger, but being it's also compatible with 2.0, will any such charger cord work? I see these all over the place for between 5-10 bucks. For an emergency backup charger, will these be fine? Also, is the same true for universal USB car chargers?

Yes, I used an HTC one this morning, and both a Samsung and generic over the weekend. It will not charge as fast but they work fine

I used my Note 1 cable but in an adapter that has 2.0a output. It charged pretty fast but I didn't time it to see how it compares to using 3.0 usb.

Some of the ones that are advertised to be 2.0 A will be actually less than 1A and very slow according to the reviews on Amazon.
