I've noticed an issue where when I'm streaming audio (Pandora, Stitcher, etc) when I have my headphones in it plays out of the speakers still. Not nrealy as annoying for me as it is my co-workers. :p

It's not happening every time ... but it has been happening for multple pairs of headphones when I can replicate the issue. When I power cycle the phone (and by that I mean it dies b/c battery life is HORRID) it does seem to go away for a time.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any remedies? I do like the phone for the most part, I really don't want to return it, but this is unacceptable.

ive never experienced this before at all, neither with stock or root

Was that helpful? Haha

Cuz mine works fine. And by no means do I need to apply force to my headphones.

A Co-worker of mine had the same problem. He was showing me and we tested my phone. After connecting/disconnecting headphones several times on his phone it went away. We chalked it up to possible contamination left over from fab or possibley dirt from pocket. Once it was used several times the receptacle was 'cleaned'. This was a few weeks ago and he hasn't seen the problem since.
