Speaker Phone Echo on receiving end

just started to happen recently but when I dial out while on speaker phone and they answer they state that the are getting a real bad echo. when I toggle the speaker phone on off a few times seems to help. I think it only happens when I make a call and while it is ringing turn on speaker before receiving end answers but cannot be for certain.

anyone else experiencing this?
 
Do you have a case on? If so, try taking it off and see if the problem persists.
 
Did you get yours unlocked through LG, or is it from a carrier?
 
Hmm strange -- and you don't see Noise Suppression in the Settings>Network>Call>Additional Settings menu? That link I shared above is from T-Mobile, so I would assume the T-Mobile variant would have that option (unless some subsequent system update took it away).
 
I just checked for noise suppression on mine and it's not there anymore. Searched the settings, and it's not coming up. I've seen it before. Thought there was 1 or 2 settings for call quality.... I'm on At&t. Just had a minor update come through a few days ago. The only thing i noticed was the on screen popup that appears next to the volume buttons when I press the volume rocker. Curious when the call quality options were taken out.
