speaker phone gets enabled when screen dims

im having a issue with the dialer. when I dial a number and it starts to ring i can hear it ringing through the ear piece. when I put it to my ear and the screen goes off the speaker gets enabled. not sure if it's a setting i enabled.

Try turning off Settings -> Sound -> Flip for Speaker. Perhaps the sensors are mis-calibrated and think you are flipping the phone over to put it into speakerphone.
