Hi, looking to see if anyone else was having an issue with the speaker phone only. While on a call using speaker phone either the other party tells me that I'm cutting in and out or I have to tell them that and when I shut off my speaker phone everything is fine on both ends.

If they shut their speaker phone off it doesn't help. I tried with my mom's phone, different mfg, and no issue either way when my phone isn't being used.

Maybe a noise canceling mic issue?

I had that issue and not only with Nokia. It usually happens when I call my sister on her landline and she switches on the speaker phone at her end.

I get the feeling it's a network issue and nothing to do with the phone.

Haven't had a chance to check sage mode yet but only happens when using my phone. Same network different phone and it doesn't happen.

Do you mean it doesn't allow you to boot into Safe Mode, or that you can't use any of your 3rd party apps in Safe Mode? If the latter, remember that this is just a troubleshooting step, not a suggestion to run the phone in Safe Mode constantly.

I have no access to Verizon in safe mode. It comes on with airplane mode on.

This is what I get when I do it and then turn airplane mode off.

That's odd -- you should be able to turn off Airplane Mode in Safe Mode. Is the toggle greyed out?

I did turn it off but it still won't connect to my carrier.

If you look at the second and third pic airplane mode is off.

I've never seen a phone not able to connect to the carrier in Safe Mode. What happens if you remove the SIM and reinsert it?

Tried my mom's phone in safe mode, different brand, same carrier. Hers works fine after turning airplane mode off.

Got a new SIM card ordered.

Ok good, at least see if it fixes some issues your having.

Haven't got the new SIM yet but the same SIM in a moto g power has no issue with speaker phone and the signal by dbm is better.

Safe mode can also make calls etc on the moto.

Alright. New SIM no difference on any of it. I like this motor g power better anyway.

Must just be something going out in the Nokia.
