Speaker volume super low

Whenever I play music through speakers the first note/word/beat is at normal high volume and then the volume lowers to really low, like a 3 or 4/10 even though it says it's at max 10/10. Anyone else who has this problem? How do I fix it? Occasionally it will play at full volume but I don't know why.

Apparently this was limited to my spotify player and could be resolved by turning off the spotify eaqulizer!
