I've had my Note 10+ since last summer, never attached any external screen protector to it and it's been fine.

Today I notice there is a very small speck of white dust off to the left side of the screen next to the power button. The very small but noticeable roundish speck has moved inwards about half a centimeter just past the curved part of the screen onto the flat part. I find it a mystery how a speck of dust could get inside and there is an air bubble surrounding the speck. I have a feeling it will get worse.

What to do, what to do?

I have one too , but on the right side. The protector is still working and not lifting do I'm just going to leave it and the speck alone before I mess it up.lol

Get a new screen protector?

I've got 4 spots. They look like a microscopic doughnut. Thinking about removing the protector and going protectoless. I'll still use a case. May wait till it gets worse.
I remember back when I was a kid mom got a new couch and new carpet for the living room. The couch got a plastic bag like cover and the carpet got vinyl runners in the traffic areas. Not comfortable on the couch and when the runners wore out the carpet was two different textures.

The so called screen protector that comes pre-installed is nothing but some cheap crappy plastic, just rip it off and enjoy your Note the way it is supposed to be.

The original screen protector started to lift in February of this year. Experimented with a few on Ebay and Amazon and most fell well short of the mark, (maybe me and my attempt instillation),Went to a show in London and the next day walked to the Samsung Shop on Oxford Street. Result. Moutfitters inside the shop fitter a matte screen protector for me. Really first class cover, lifetime guarantee, but, for me the salespeople/installer was brilliant No problems with fingerprint, facial recognition, and the S pen. However I digress, Casey.......deal with it. Not being confrontational.

I finally got took the screen protector off just now and it feels great. The screen protector started to have a bunch of micro scratches near the fingerprint scanner so the scanner wasn't working like it did. Works great now.

For me it's better than no screen protector

Mines still in excellent condition and not lifting at all, that's with an Otterbox rugged case etc.

The screen protector does have some fine scratches to it, but I've rough fingers from the chalk I use whilst training/stone lifting etc, so no screen protector isn't an option for me and the aftermarket ones seem to be only ok at best
