Spectrum having constant problems...are they normal?

I would try rooting and instlaling CWM and then putting a custom rom on. if it still does it then you must have some sort of hardware issue, but I don't think you do. it' sounds like software to me.

i have downloaded everything to root my phone im just a lil hesitant on doing it cuz i dont wanna as alot of people say brick my phone

if you follow the directions you wont brick it. People who brick their phone do so by trying things that are not in the directions.

you can use broken out or eclipse rom. Don't fear rooting and installing a rom though because once you learn it you'll be surprised how easy it is. Just a little intimidating at first

also is there anyway i can put all the apps that i had back on my phone without the pain of downloading them again

You need a backup app like rom toolbox or titanium backup. titanium backup is the most popular. But since you already installed the rom and didn't do a backup you are not going to get those apps back without downloading them all again.

Did installing the rom fix the problem you were having?

well return your phone to stock and call tech support and they will send you a replacement phone. Don't know what it could be but just get a replacement phone
