wow first let me start by saying, coming for the droid x this is 110% better..i have had my phone now for 3 days. been playing alot with it, still havnt covered half of what it can do. battery is a little better than my droid x Extended battery, but its only day 3 so im guessing a few more drainings will really tell. Speed incredibly fast amongust other things. camera havnt played with it yet too much but what pictures I did take was great. One of the huge differences I have noticed is this speech to text...droid x wouldnt type much of what i was saying, but this beast not only is 100% accurate it even adds periods, explanition points where needed and commas.. and its fast.. I am very impressed with this feature that actually works well.

Interesting. So you're saying it adds the punctuation without you saying it...such as add in a ! or a , ? I'm very used to speech recognition, as I do real-time captioning and use Dragon, but this does it without saying "punctuation mark", or "period"? (obviously I don't have my phone yet)

I also upgraded from a Droid X but the Google speech to text still doesn't insert a period. Are you using the Samsung engine?

yes i was surprised.. I am using settings as it came out of the box, I didnt change a thing.. ANd if I dont say a proper sentence it will underline it and give me an option to correct if I want.. totally impressed as my droid x couldnt even type half of what I said and it was slow.. I use this feature alot now I need to find a blue tooth that will allow text to speech..
