Speed Tests Results!

Do you know if both download and upload speeds are affected by the bug? I'm truing the web version now. Will post updates.

I think they are because I was only getting around 17 down on the app and since doing the actual site I've not gone under 25 while I was at work.

So yes, confirming that there is a bug in the Speedtest App (not that I ever doubted you guys).

30 down and 20 up with 110 ms of latency, which is consistent with what I've seen with my USB LTE modem. I'm also in one of the original test markets, and Verizon did say these markets would see higher performane than others.

But according to 4G product manager Chris Whitfield, there's something special about Seattle, Boston, Dallas and some cities in Ohio, which were part of Verizon's first wave of 4G build out. "Early adopters should expect more throughput" in these markets

That's awesome! I'm very excited for the future of LTE. Just imagine, this is just a start!

( btw I was going crazy looking for this thread after it was renamed! 0_o )
 
speed

Rochester ny. Average 17mb. High 28mb down. Up avg 30mb high 42mb.
Used both mobilespeedtest at 5mb and speedtest.net. app. Blazing fast here never gets below 12mb
