Spigen Cases

I was impressed with one of Spigen's Note 7 cases (which was my first from them), so I'm going with the "Rugged Armor" case with the Pixel XL. Should go nice with a black Pixel.

Are the Spigen cases "grippy" or more of a smooth plastic? I'm used to the UAG which is very grippy and looking for the same feel.

Depends which case. I had the neo hybrid for the note 7 and it felt too slick on the sides because of the smooth plastic frame. I just got the Rugged Armor for the Pixel XL and it is more grippy since it uses a single rubber shell.

I am using the UAG case for my note 7 currently and it is a much harder sturdier case than the Spigen Rugged Armor. The raised grooves on the UAG adds grip but it can be a little slick because the plastic case is quite hard. The Rugged Armor is softer and feels very nice and grippy on the sides, although the back of the case is kinda slick because there are no grooves.

The UAG definitley feels more protective and well built than the Spigen cases. For the price, the Rugged Armor is very nice and the soft rubber shell feels more comfortable in my hand than the UAG.

Yup, I agree with all of this. I love the UAG cases in general.

any ideas on how the spigen rugged would compare to the Google silicon case? The google case isn't available in Canada for sale yet.

Got my Rugged Armor...no phone though! Love this case! Have had it for other phones and they were great.

My two spigens came in the mail yesterday, and my pixel arrived today. I'll post up pics with them later today or tmw if I have a chance.

i received my spigen rugged case today. I am disappointed on how soft it feels. I guess I was expecting something like the OEM Samsung case where the sides are softish but the body is ridged.

Has anyone tried the Google case?

I've got the same case but for my note 5 and it looks awesome but the slick plastic makes it difficult to hold worth one hand. I've got the liquid crystal case now and it's perfect.

I have a Spigen case NIB like the one pictured above for a Pixel XL. Since I never received my 128GB Pixel XL

I lucked into a iPhone 7+ that I would like to trade a case for or sell mine outright.

Just reply here.

I had heard good things about the Spigen Tough case. It looks ok etc.

But did I read here someone didn't like the Rough case? That is different than the Tough

The Tough is like the Speck black grip. Which is better. Which is thinner

I got the Spigen Rugged Armor for my new Pixel XL. It's ok, pretty good grip, decent fit, but
I am not convinced it would protect it in a fall. Probably going to look around for something else, though this is at least not too bulky.

So if one wasn't concerned about protection too much but looks and thin then you would probably agree with the threats of us that it is an excellent case??

Thanks
