I just went through multiple channels and also have received an email from Amazon on this issue. I have been told that preorders of the Sprint EVO LTE will not be delayed. (just thought that some as concerned as I was may be wondering). However this was Amazon...there could be delays for the many other outlets including Sprint Stores. But if anybody preordered from Amazon this should give you some peace of mind. I have no problem sharing a copy of the email from Amazon. This was not an automated email...this was a reply to my inquiry on this issue. I was also verbally given an answer on this over the phone after going through multiple levels of supervisors etc...

Yea....we heard you the first time...

Grin...not trying to agitate anyone. Just wanted to get it out beyond some post that some may or may not be reading in their entirety if at all. My apologies to others I may have agitated or are sensitive to my posting on two threads including this one.

No need to apologize for getting the word out. People will just get agitated for the sake of being agitated. Continue doing what you do. They can choose to not read the forums.

I'm curious. Do you have a tracking number for your order? If so, where is your phone now?

I am expecting its in there warehouse on the mainland based on my conversation with them as well as email received on this issue. Obviusly I would be guessing...there is NO tracking # as of this moment...and although it was said that I could receive early...the expected shipping date is listed as the 18th...

Good luck with that. :)

Perhaps...if there is going to be a lengthy delay I can always cancel...my Sprint contract is up in 2 months and I had condidered heading to Verizon as they are the only ones with LTE in my area right now. And I would have a nice device when in a WiFi area...and a battery sucking device and slow 3g service when not. Just been with Sprint for so long...so I could have more time to decide...will know soon enough...I look st this in a glass half full approach even though that glass may be empty right now...

You know when you click on a phone number and a menu shows up saying call thats the apple patent but i don't know why apple didn't say nothing before almost every android phone does this

Well aware of situation...however this shouldn't have any affect on devices stored in warehouses already within our borders...just as I am sure the HTC ONE X is being sold somewhere...through wirefly etc...even if AT&T is sold out...

Just hit Best Buys website for availability in and around my area...and although unavailable by shopping online it is available in most of the stores in the Southeast Florida area (ie Palm Beach to Miami)...the point is that if there are EVO LTE'S sitting in warehouses already (I am betting there are) then some that preordered should still be receiving their devices...

I've never ordered a phone with service through Amazon but I'm assuming that they do update the order with a tracking number when the phone gets to FedEx (or whatever shipping service is used), just like most any other order. I'd start to get worried if you don't get a tracking number today or tomorrow.

Anyone heard anything else about their amazon order? I know the est shipping date I have of July 2nd is just a placeholder date but am hoping someone else knows something more concrete.
