Spontaneous reboot after S-off

I am running stock Froyo on rooted DInc. For the past 2 days I have been getting spontaneous reboots about 2-3/day and 1 in the midst of a phone conversation. These seem to have coincided with the installation of S-off shortly before that. In the process of searching I came across a similar problem with Droid X and somebody suggested it may be related to H boot version....mine is 0.92. I'm not inclined to tinker with this anymore. The main thing I wanted out of root is wireless tether which I had before installing S-off. So if S-off is the problem and there isn't an easy proven fix, I'm inclined to S-on.....assuming that's easy. Right now I'm probably in a hold pattern hoping the resets will diminish to a tolerable frequency.....probably wishful thinking.
