So I've run into an issue that I haven't encountered before and I think it may have something to do with the battery settings on the Spotify app.
I have spotify on my phone, but listen on the computer while at work. I leave my phone in my car so it has 0 use all during the day. Yesterday I came out after work and found my phone at 80% and the spotify app had used something like 12% battery during the day. I looked at the app, and it was on the song that I had just finished listening to at my computer. It seems that when I listen to a song on spotify on my computer, it syncs with my phone as well and the spotify app is constantly receiving updates etc from the computer for what i'm doing. How can I stop this from happening?
I thought about setting battery optimization on or restricting the app in background, but I do want spotify to work on my phone while im at the gym and not directly in the app or turn the phone off and have it keep playing.
