I keep getting a notification on my watch saying spotify is draining my battery. I'm not using it when I get the message. I keep clicking fix but then a few minutes later I get the message again, and again in click fix, then I get the notification again and so on.

It doesn't seem like clicking fix is helping since I keep getting the message over and over. Does anyone know how to fix this so I'm not draining my battery and so I stop getting these notifications.

Thanks

Well it seemed to work and I wasn't getting the notifications until last night I started getting them every hour or so. I don't know what to do, I need to get this to stop.
In device care you can try to add it to sleeping apps but if you use it on your phone lock screen you have to take it out and enable background again

I have it set as a sleeping app, I just did optimize battery and it said it closed 6 apps but I force stopped Spotify before I did that.

I kind of don't want to get rid of spotify since pandora doesn't connect to the watch the same way. But I use pandora way more than spotify, it's pretty rare for me to use spotify but I like some of the blues channels better on it.

Hopefully someone else can help too. I do thank you for helping me as much as you could. I just don't understand why it quit since the 30th and all of a sudden its back.

I don't use Spotify or any music player on my watches. I just use Google Play Music on everything, but I'll take a shot.

In the Wearables app, under APPS, if there is a settings gear, on the line for the Spotify app, take a look in there for anything that is worth a try.

ETA, I just looked to see which forum this thread is in. It looks like generic Android wearables.
Which watch are you using?

Using the 46mm android watch. I haven't tried using google play or Samsung music just because I use pandora so much but like i said in an earlier post spotify has some good blues guitar channels

See if @pizza_pablo can also help here
I swear I'm about to just delete spotify from my watch, it's not draining the phone battery just the watch. It will quit for a couple days and then come back and last night it kept constantly waking me up about every half hour giving me the notification.

Do you get a battery drain with it ? Maybe disable Spotify notification
