Spotify issues with V20?

Anyone else have Spotify just kind of freeze up for a minute or two, seemingly randomly?

Whether I'm on phones or on a BT device, periodically, Spotify just kind of stops, not responding to any input at all, only to reawaken and process any inputs a minute or so later.

I've done the recent update to Build NRD90M, and it still happens.

Any thoughts on this?

I was thinking in that direction as well. Which means it's really just a matter of waiting.

Try clearing data on the app to see if that helps. If it continues I would contact Spottily support. They may need to update the app. They should have updated it already for Android M since it isn't super new anymore -- most likely just a bug on the V20 w/ the app.

i'm not able to get Spotify to respond to commands in the second screen and im having the same issue as OP

EDIT: when main screen is off and second screen is ON, i can't use the controls for Spotify, just to be clear.

I would contact Spotify first. Since other apps work it is most likely their app needing an update. LG won't be able to help with it.

I've only had my phone about 24 hours now but have a good 3 hrs of Spotify usage. No issue so far.

It's probably a Spotify bug. That happened on my Note 5 too.

There are a lot of different Spotify apps out there maybe were talking about more than one here , I mean like premium paid , free with adds , H***** no adds etc
Is everyone referring to a fresh play store download or other ?

That setting doesn't make a difference for me. The playback controls don't work, but clicking on the app icon will open the app.

Pocket Casts works exactly the way it should, so I think it's a Spotify bug.
