Spotify pausing

Spotify randomly pauses during playback. Only seems to happen when connected through the headphone jack (Klipsch dock, headphones).

It's not a case of somebody else using the account....that I'm sure. This is a paid account(don't think that matters).

Nevermind. Smart pause is for video only I think.

Smart pause is not enabled. Smart stay is the only "smart" feature I have enabled.

I have the same problem on my s4. :/ It also seems to be when headphones are connected. I have been using a bluetooth speaker for a while and never had this problem with that.

There are inline controls on these headphones, for the iphone. But I'm not pressing the buttons when the problem occurs and if I do use the buttons nothing happens as it's designed for the iphone. I'm just wondering if the inline controls have something to do with it. Or if it would also happen with the stock samsung headphones (I haven't tested this).

I've run into this issue with the stock music player and poweramp. It is very random but happens almost every time. It's really bothering me!
