Since my Evo no longer works, and I refuse to re-up with Sprint while the network is so damn bad, I have been forced to revert back to my old Q9C (WM 6.1). Can't afford Verizon or AT&T (newborn son in the house) and can't afford a decent phone to get on Straight Talk. Hook a brotha up, please!

I'm in absolute need of a new device because I have them jazz hands and my old Samsung Corby (first generation, mind you) is still alive and the reason my parents are allowing me to get a new phone is when this phone is unfixable. Till today, it works completely fine and I'm just getting more and more stressful everyday with this device.

I hope you understand my predicament.

Edit: i think the phone double posted. :(

Why i need? I don't, my mother who by the way owns that denture inside that toilet-bowl-looking case definitely NEEDS to upgrade her EVO 4G which had a broken screen and the battery barely lasts 3 hours after it fell on the water.

While i do speak English well, she doesn't and i do get scared if something happens while she is driving or while she is at work and she can't call me or anyone to help. If I wasn't in college I'd buy her another phone. If someone NEEDS a new phone it's her, she deserves it!

Hello all. I would love to "Spring into Tegra" this spring with a new one x+. My Evo 3d has served me well the past two years, despite being replaced twice. I desperately need a new faster phone that I can run my medical apps on at work and watch Netflix on night shift. Please pick me.

This is my Mom with her old flip phone that she's had for years. She'd be absolutely THRILLED if she won so, I'm letting her have my entry. Awwww, I'm such a good son. O:)

On a side note: If she won, she'd be the most pimped out Mennonite lady in her church lol. :p

Droid X..... please save me

To name a few things...
  • no front facing camera
  • when I type, no letters show up
  • battery dies very quickly
  • takes five minutes to place a call (no exaggeration)

This is the Samsung GT-C3530 aka La Fleur I got as a spare device when my former phone passed away. Right. What other reason do I need an HTC One+ for?
Well it has all I need in my phone: a big but >5'' screen, the 64gb internal memory and the quad core processor. Then, it has all I'd like in my phone: a rugged not-glossy/plasticky back, the audio enhancements and yes... a sense (no pun intended) of owning a telephone as oposed of being owned by a brand.

Stupid iPhone. I miss my old Star Tac, maybe an HTC One would help ease the pain of being an iSheep.

OK. So I have this Nokia 770 which was the cat's nads in its time. Now I know what your thinking, it probably goes something like this... "Why the hell does someone bring a Nokia 770 into a competition like this?". Perhaps a thought entered your mind along the lines of "this has no chance of surviving along side my seriously outdated two year old device's superiosity!!". Well, I'm not here to debate the accuracy of your claim, but I also am not fond of always being that "guy in the red shirt on an away mission" to everyone I know with an awesome phone. As this story rambles into the expected "What does this have anything to do with the original query?"
Well, this is no ordinary 770, as this 770 has a LCARS theme that, in a world of geekology, would allow a forum like this to develop some sort of sitcom type menage that most likely could get better ratings than french toast on a plate of bacon. Whatever. Could really use a device that didn't require servicing each time the crystals expired. Make it so.

Well, this should explain why I deserve a new phone pretty darn well, if not to complete the evolutionary cycle of my cell phones. It's absolutely incredible how far we've come!
