Sprint default configuration is ready to install bug

Any resolution to this? I just picked up an HTC One and had this wipe all my apps after installing. Now that I am a day and a half into my phone, I would hate for this to wipe everything clean again.

Since running the stupid app shortly after getting my One (Late April) I have not had the notification popup again and haven't ever had my settings reset, so I would say you are probably in the clear!

OK, I was unsuccessful with disabling Sprint Installer. Upon restart, Sprint ID utilizes the disabled Installer to present the message again. I have to go into running apps, and kill Sprint ID and the installer listed as a resource being used to stop the popup, and it comes back after a restart. I am simply unwilling to let this un-customize my phone and download a bunch of crapware that I am not interested in seeing on my phone, and it pisses me off that it is continually presented to me.

You have to go in to sprint have them flash the ruu... you will lose everything. I did it myself at home...

Sprint does this? Since when? Also if they do it, doesn't that mean your phone is no longer under warranty?

I feel you guys on this. I restored my One a couple nights ago,and spent forever customizing my screens/widgets. The next morning I got the sprint zone popup about setting my default configuration. Hit continue (since that's the only option I saw),and bam- my screens all changed to some sprint configuration. I was thinking when it said default configuration it was saving mine as a default. Lol. I miss how the only evo let you save different layouts! Needless to say I went bananas.

I just got mine two days ago and this happened to me twice. So sprint/HTC hasn't fixed the bug as of yet. I was able to disable the app by going to settings > apps then swiping to ALL. Scrolled to sprint and disabled sprint installer. It hasn't bugged me since. Also got rid of some apps that come default that I'll never use.

So far I have never had the problem mentioned in this thread, I did follow the instructions listed in the video though to make sure I do not have the problem.
