Sprint Galaxy Note a threat?

Having used both ... They're two very different phones. I think they both stand on their own.

That said, I'm not sold on a Sprint Galaxy Note. Marketing mix-ups like that happen all the time.

Thanks Phil, that makes sense to me and kinda clears my mind. I really like the Note and would love to get my hands on one. I like my phones like my women, big and with some junk in the trunk.(extended battery) I thank this slimness trend has gone to far for me. I'm due a upgrade and the new EVO does appeal to me and I thank I would be happy with it but the thought of getting it and then a month or two latter, the Note shows up on Sprint would just kill me. Ok,maybe just a little miffed. The vague rumors I keep coming across, about a Sprint Note have made me just a little unsure about my next phone. I'm ashamed that my mental state has made me do mean things to my cats. They will never forgive me for making them sit through a whole season of Sabrina, the teenage witch on netflix. Oh, how terrible the phone lust.

Bring on the galaxy note I will get it if Sprint offers it!

Thanks, I hope its in our future and if not... well E4GLTE here I come.

I'm definitely picking up the E4GLTE, but if a samsung galaxy note comes to sprint that will definitely be the phone that I am getting. I think that even with it being a little old it is still a great device and for the huge screen size you get with it I could live with the older Exynos.

The rumor is that there will be a 'refreshed' version of Samsung's Note coming later this year on a US carrier. Based on passed spec bumped Samsung releases I'd guess it would be going to Sprint.

I'm craving the Note, so I'm waiting patiently to see what happens in the next few months. If they don'y get it, my options then would be the 4GLTE or S III. I actually considered switching to ATT (solely for the Note), but quickly regained my sanity. :p I'm not giving up my unlimited everything plan to pay more for a limited plan, just for a phone. I can be patient...sometimes.

I want the note also, but I can't live off of rumors. I've been rocking the original evo since its launch date, almost 2 years ago. Its still a great phone and sometimes I wonder why I need to upgrade. It does everything I ask it and still pretty fast and never had any issues out of it. Yet i can't fight the desire for the latest hardware. I'm a weak little man, so I'll most likely getting the evo 4g lte even though I'm happy with my current phone. Glad your sanity returned, I work for a ATT contractor and have seen the belly of the beast. Sprint may have some issues, but I've seen the other side up close and personal and its not pretty.nobody likes watching how the sausage is made.

I have owned the EVO Shift and the NEXUS S 4G. To me the EVO Shift was the better built and better feeling phone. I really like the soft touch vs the gloss plastic Samsung likes to use. I also like the more natural colors of an LCD to the bright over-saturated look of Amoled screens. (I'll never own another pentile screen even if it's 1080p but that's not really the issue here). So, the feel of the phone along with the fact that I think the Note is too big means I would stick with the EVO LTE. I don't want to own another Samsung phone after the NS4G.

I'd get a note, but I am an avid Bluetooth user, Samsung fan boy, and fully utilize my screen space. I will say it for sure is not a phone for everyone. You really can't carry it in your pocket.

I always thought that the galaxy note rumor for Sprint was never gonna happen personally. But now that it seems like we are getting it, this is just going to be a really good year for Sprint. There's going to be the Spring Galaxy Nexus, HTC Evo 4G LTE, Spring Galaxy Note, Sprint GSIII, and possibly another high-end Moto phone?

Sounds like the Moto phone will be a refresh of the Photon with LTE capabilities

The real question is WHEN would such a phone come out. If its not coming before christmas time then there is no point in talking. And that would be the only timeframe it could possibly launch with the new exynos chipset, because that one isn't going into production until then. So nope, EVO 4G LTE all the way for me.

Maybe this will at least give them a kind of wakeup call as far as how much interest there is in a Sprint Note. I think it would be a pretty big hit.

Based on today's article, the exynos chipset will power the next Samsung, which will be out next month.

I think the note is just too big for me. I really liked the size of the Epic Touch 4G but was having issues with GPS so I returned it. Haven't had any issues with either the Evo 4G or the Evo 3D so I will be upgrading to the Evo 4G LTE

As much as I like an want a note, I would only get a device like that if HTC made one. No notifications light and I prefer HTC's text reflow, screens and Sense. So like Huawei HTC needs to get into this segment.

You think HTC will come out with 5.3 screen....I would love that!:)

I held a note at Best Buy yesterday. That phone is way too big for me. Even though I never thought that could be possible.
