sprint galaxy s3 start up screen frozen... HELP

I have a Sprint Galaxy S3 phone that was working fine. There was an indication that an update was needed, so I clicked it. When it was going through the process of rebooting, it froze on the start up screen. I have pulled the battery for a long time, I have tried to clear the cashe, I have tried to wipe data and factory reset, I have tried rebooting the system from System Recovery page. I have tried to use Kies to help resolve the problem and nothing has worked. What else can I do?? Help!

Have you tried ( home button + volume up + on/off button ) and factory reset from this pannel ?
