Sprint HTC One intermittant lock up after Kit Kat upgrade

Got the Kit Kat OTA upgrade yesterday evening. The phone is intermittently freezing up. Not while operating but when i hit the power button to use the phone it is locked up and I cant do anything except reboot. I have tried removing a few applications, clearing application caches etc. This has occurred three times so far in 18 hours.

Have you tried a factory reset? That may be just what the doctor ordered.
