I just brought sprint htc one m8 and the notification light not working for miss calls or message. Do I need to download any software.

You shouldn't need to download anything else to get it to work. I can't quite remember the details of the light, as I disabled mine. I think the lights are supposed to come on when the screen is off. This isn't happening?
