If it's an iPhone, then it has to be 4G in order to be an industry first. I'm betting a big webOS announcement, with a new phone and tablet.

If the release date rumor floating around in the atrix forum of a march release is true. I suspect sprint will announce it's release of a dual core phone just in time to beat the release of the iPhone on verizon and the dual core on AT&T. If so Im guessing their announcement would feature a HTC phone. If this is so I would switch to sprint the only thing keeping me on AT&T right now is the release of the atrix. Money wise though it be cheaper to go to sprint.

Sprint's event is on the 7th, not the 9th.

Palm Pre 2 and RIM/Balckberry playbook 4G. Thats what im betting, though i sure hope im wrong haha.

OR it could be the sprint version of the Desire HD, seems like all the carriers are getting one, Verizon - thunderbolt and ATT - inspire.

Call me crazy but I can see sprint releasing a dual core android device. They would be the first. At least that's what I think. No I have no info to back it up just a gut feeling.

I don't have any real info either, but I'm really hoping for another new HTC device. Dual core with an Epic or Evo sized display, FFC, & slide-out QWERTY keyboard would rock! My Hero is due for an upgrade next month, so I'll be watching closely!

What in particular don't you like about the Shift?

Was going to "pull the trigger" on the shift any day, but may wait until Feb.7 to see.

Everybody keeps talking about phones/tablets? I think it will have something to do with the plans.... Maybe the rumored $70 unlimited... Something that we are not hitting on, and I believe that they will announce new phones in March.
