sprint in feb conference

So, here's a related question: what's been Sprint's pattern in the past regarding phone releases? It seems like they've announced new phones early in the year (CTIA, maybe?) and then released in the summer. If it's a summer release, then I'd stick with my Epic, for which the 30-day return ends on February 12. I'd not want to keep using my Pre all the way until June...

If, however, new phones could release as early as March, then it would make sense to return the Epic and save the upgrade. With my luck lately, though, they'll end up announcing something right after my return period ends. If the Epic were perfect, I'd just bite the bullet and try to convince myself that I can wait a year for my next upgrade, but given the issues with the Epic (lack of 2.2, GPS, etc.) I'll be kicking myself if I miss some awesome new phone by a month...

There has to be multiple devices being announced if they pulled out all the stops, i mean, its david blaine for gods sake.

I want to know how the presence of Mr. David Blaine is explained by an announcement of multinode towers and a beep beep android phone? Is he going to make a tower disappear? Is he going to transform a redneck with some old motorola beep beep phone into a Justin Bieber hairstyle, Hollister clothes wearing preppy who still gets to use his beep beep to air his dirty laundry in public for all to hear?

They are not going to have a special event to tell us stuff we already know or to introduce a phone no one is likely going to give a fart about. This better be something bigger and better.

As far as that dual screen phone goes...I am hoping that is not the case. Give me a souped up version (and I mean SOUPED up) of an Evo to make me happy, not some weird form factor that you either have to love or hate. 2 screens just screams problems with apps....and if there is some complicated hinge mechanism involved, then I want nothing to do with it.
