Didn't see this posted previously and don't really care...lol, BUT run to your local Sprint store and sign up before it is too late!!!

As the link points out, and I neglected to mention initially....existing customer's are Grandfathered, so no worries if you are already with Big Yellow.

Sprint's unlimited data plan increases to $70 a month on October 16th

What I am really concerned about is if Sprint will also raise Iphone customer's from $50 to $60 to be fair, OR leave it at $50 to further discriminate against everyone that doesn't use one of Cupertino's phones?

I've always wondered what kind of contract Dan Hess signed with Apple, because there has to be a reason why they are pushing people toward the Iphone and a $10 per month savings.

I know AT&T, TMO, and Verizon are far from perfect, but, to my knowledge, they treat every smartphone the same.

There's more ppl moving to Android than to iPhone...so they have to attract those.

No, ALL EXISTING customers on the $60 unlimited plan will be able to stay on that plan as long as they continue to meet the requirements.

Thus means that you will continue to be eligible for the $60 unlimited plan AND iPhone users will continue to be on the $50 plan (same plan as the $60, but you get a $10 credit due to it being an iPhone).

Yup. The link clearly mentions existing customers are Grandfathered, but I didn't mention that it my post, so thanks for clarifying. Didn't mean to start a panic and was surprised it wasn't posted sooner.

Where did you find those statistical? I work in the phone business and see more people move to iPhone then to Android.
