Sprint M 10 Data Roaming

Took my Sprint M-10 on a road trip to Iowa this weekend and noticed it had a really hard time switching to roaming and when it did, it usually disconnected data. Standing in a small town with only Verizon towers, two of my friends, standing next to me, both on Sprint and roaming, had roaming data. One was using a GS 7 edge and the other was using an HTC One M-9. All of my settings are set for data roaming, and I tried switching form auto, to LTE/CDMA, with no difference. Tried the Airplane mode toggle, as well as restarting. No luck. Really frustrating. I've used my M8, and M9 in these areas before. Any ideas?

Try updating your PRL and your profile. Both of those can be found in the update portion of your phone settings. Also ##update# on the phone dialer.

Thanks. That was the first things I tried. Made no difference.
