Sprint Mobile Data problems

No offense to anyone, but did you ever think that Sprint has their bad rep for a reason?

You try to save money and have Sprint, so you are getting what you pay for.

In a previous life, I used to work for AT&T and also worked a few years with Verizon. There is a reason why they cost more. :)

Currently, I have AT&T as my provider. Hardly ever have a problem. Also I'm in one of their fake 5Ge areas, I usually on average get more than 100meg downloads.

Maybe don't go to Starbucks so much and use that extra money to get on a better carrier.

How do you say no offense then proceed to to make assumptions about my spending habits. I will just say this you have no idea why some people choose the carrier they are on.

I'm sorry but the thread title made me laugh being a former Sprint customer.

In Miami, Sprint has far better coverage than ATT, Tmo or VZ. This s10 issue is a bug, and it is real.

My sprint service has been terrible since upgrading to the s10+, i actuallly thought i had a defective phone and was going to contact sprint. Now my wife is in the hospital for three weeks and she has no service at all to make a call when my sons s9 plus works fine when are in the hospital.

That sucks! my husband said his note 8 had better signal and spots were his S10 plus don't. It's crazy!

47 page thread on Samsung site, and another very long thread on sprints support site. It seems like a lot of people are impacted, and sprint/Samsung are finger pointing at each other.

It would be really nice if AC would write a story on this to help shine some light on the issue.

Update..had to call Sprinf Tech support for the 4th time. They finally put in a claim for replacement phone. Filled out and uploaded the documents so now just waiting to see if this replacement will work

My replacement has been like night and day, very satisfied!

Hmm Wonder if my husband should call Samsung about his. His Note 8 had signal in places he has no signal or little signal in places he had decent signal before.

I'm headed to a corporate store tomorrow for this issue. Any way I can pursade then to give me a replacement?
Get executive services involved, I've mostly seen Sprint shipping after normal trouble shooting.

Today I chat with samsung and first rep imediatelly once I reported s10+ LTE issues said let me get you to supervisor... I got next person and there was no introduction at all, took my Info and put in a ticket for me and told me to call samsung 800 number... Not even hour after Samsung tech who was US based calls me. When I asked her if she had any idea what is happening, she denied any problems with device and LTE. She was offering repair since it was under warranty, which means I'd be out of phone for week or so.
This all thing is very sketchy, nobody knows what caused it to all of a sudden stop picking up LTE around March 23rd. For lots of phones around US. And for me at least Everytime I chat with them, either Sprint or samsung I should have received transcript of our conversation since I particularly selected it, but I never get one...

Could you elaborate about how to get executive services involved?
You can call Sprint and after telling the rep, asked to be escalated or just tweet:

@sprintCTO @sprintcare @MichelCombes

Tell them ur problem and they will DM you. Tell them ur issue and what happens, ask for a phone call from executive services and go from there.

Latest update for me. Sprint wouldn't cover under the insurance. Said it was a pre existing condition (what is this healthcare). Next Sprint person told me to call 1 800 Samsung. Spoke to them, told them all the trials and tribulations of this phone. It is covered under the 1 year warranty. They sent me the claim form and the UPS label to pack it up and ship to them for repair. Then spent 30 minutes getting Sprint to turn off the S10+ and reactivate my S9+ so I will have a phone for the 2 weeks or so that my phone is being repaired. I would suggest calling Samsung and forgetting about getting Sprint to fix anything.

Yes Sprint told me to take it into the store that has a repair center. My husband's is worse than mine. I got this message a couple times.

Took mine into a repair center and they told me "since it passed their mobile data connection test" it was considered defective and they wouldn't swap the phone out unless I called tech support in the store and they authorized them to do it. They tried to blame it on the network and wanted to replace the sim card which they didn't have. I finally just went to a sales only store and got a sim card. It seems a little better but I still get that error shown in your screen shot.

Yeah I read an article just now on CNET about data problems and it said check your sim card. But I think it's a Sprint problem since several others having same problem. Hopefully they'll be an update soon. Not sure how it works for unlocked but I haven't had an update since I got my phone. Security says Feb.
