Re: Sprint/NBC showing off pictures taken with EVO 3D (Not impres

My pics are also great.
Here is a nice tip....after taking a pic press the picture, then press the little wand button, press effects, then choose "auto enhance" or "high contrast" to have amazing looking pics

Its hard to judge a 3d image when you are not looking directly at the phone itself. I am patiently waiting for my phone thanks to amazon who shipped ground on accident instead of 2 day shipping, my friend already has hers and once you focus at the right angle the pictures looked damn good, I actually wowed at them. Dont judge it until you have had the phone in your hand, since you made a thread abou this, I really doubt your mind will change.

Never been called a troll before on these forums... first time for everything. Here is a picture of her taking pictures with her EVO 3D. Oh... she also said during the show "I'm taking 3D pictures with my new EVO 3D". I have an Evo... I like HTC products... I simply voiced my opinion that I'm not impressed with the 3D picture quality.

3D pics on the EVO 3D are amazing.

IMO this would possibly matter if a ton of people didn't already have the EVO 3D and saw first hand how good the 3D pictures were.

So.. this is a feature that is only good to the first person user? If I text a 3D pic to another EVO 3D, witll that person see the same sharp quality and effect?

Do you own an E3D?

Agreed, if the phone is held in the sweet spot then the 3D pics are breathtaking. Some people can't see the 3d effect unless they relax and focus...

It seems certain scenes aren't as appropriate for the 3D effect as others.

For example, if you take a picture of a couple people standing in front of a flat wall, you get that "cardboard cutout" effect because there aren't enough focal points between the people and the wall.

Also it seems if you are too close to the object in focus it tends to flatten out the image. I imagine this is a limitation due to the cameras being close together. Thy basically see the same image nullifying the 3D effect.

But if the scene has several objects at various distances, you end up with with a pretty impressive effect.
