Sprint Note 3: Battery life

I just bought my phone a month ago. Up until yesterday my battery has been awesome. Now all of a sudden it's dying really fast. Just typing this I've lost 3%!

It seems to be ever since the KitKat update that the battery life isn't as good. I just got mine a week ago so I can't compare how it was with Jellybean. The phone updated as soon as I got it.

Could you post screenshots of your battery stats? If anything weird stands out it should be an easy fix

Welcome to Android Central. Verizon still has the Note3 on JellyBean and battery life is pretty good. Have you tried removing the battery for 30 seconds...I read in these forums that it tends to bring back better battery life. Not exactly sure though.

As UJ95X said, post your battery stats, I have experienced the same awesome battery life under both JB and KK, I'm sure someone can help identify your problem if you supply more information

As moonover posted, this is starting to be a valid complaint of the kit kat update if that is what you are running. And as other posters suggested, post screen shots of your battery stats. There might be a quick fix.

My battery life got pretty bad. Not sure how to post a screen shot on here. But after only 4 hrs I'm at 81% battery life and it says android system is using 30 % of the battery

I've had my note 3 now for a few days. Honestly I wasn't as blown away as I had hoped by battery life. Sure it's not bad, maybe it's because I have been on it so much. At any rate I love the phone. Might even get the 10k mah battery just because I want to see how long it will go.

Battery Life sucks after KitKat update. Hope they come out with a fix

I've had my note 3 since November. I run the heck out of it and the battery lasted all day until KitKat. Now the battery lasts just a few hours. Gets hot, have removed the battery, what else to do? Something is running that I can't see, can't close. There is a definite negative difference since the update.
