Sprint Note 3: Facebook problems with KitKat update

Is anyone having problems with the Facebook app since the update? I can't edit comments anymore, which was never a problem with previous OS versions. Many of my FB friends are also having various problems, some of them on different services and devices. These all seem to be related to FB and Kitkat. We've been trying different solutions, but none of them work. Maybe Google and Facebook need to get together and solve this situation.

FB probably needs to make a change to the app for KitKat. Have you emailed them about it?

Not yet. Will do today though. According to my friends' feedback, it's definitely a FB problem.

FB has an established history of poor updates, i.e. don't load properly, or users are better off uninstalling and reinstalling, etc.

I'm on the FB beta team and I get updates just about everyday. I had a problem for one day that I couldn't edit posts, by the next day it was fixed. So I know they are working on a lot of issues with the code.

Still can't edit posts. Tell them to work faster. It's very irritating.

I had a problem last night with not being able to post and ended up uninstalling FB and reinstalling, fixed that problem. But I agree, they need to find a stable build that works across all devices.

Had a fb update 2 days ago and now I can edit comments with no problem

I just uninstalled Facebook, then tried to reinstall it. Won't install due an error 24. I have no idea what that is. I've tried restarting, turning device off, and a battery pull. Still won't install due to error code 24 during the install. HELP!

Addendum: I've tried researching this problem (error code 24) and it appears the only solution is to root my phone...which I really don't want to do. Does anyone have info on how to fix this problem? Without rooting? I'll root, if necessary, but I'd really prefer not to. PLEASE HELP!!!

Nevermind. I just did a factory reset and reinstalled Facebook without issue. All other apps are installing now from the Cloud backup.

Probably could have just cleared data & cache for Facebook itself.
