Sprint Note 4 updating to Lollipop

Power savings info no longer shows how long the device has been off the charger. Simply shows remaining time left. Also annoying is every time i touch a menu item even to scroll, it does some brief funky gray color change flash.

I don't understand. Why do you have to reset to factory? I never had to do that in the iPhone world.

I think it's because updating a feature phone is not nearly as complex as when updating a smart phone.

How is the camera? Did it get RAW image capture mode?

Not that I can see in the normal camera settings.... Running the german lp for the N910F.

Got the update so far and i like it, will take some time to get use to but everything seems snappier

2 questions though

1) Anyone know how to get back the clear see through Google search bar on home screen? do not like the solid
2) Chrome also got updated but now i cant see multi pages, previously there was a button next to the address bar that allowed you to go to multi pages, am i missing something?

thank you.

Wrt #2. The "tabbed" view is now in the recent apps (which I don't like) you can however go back to the old way where the tabs are in the browser by going to the settings in Chrome on the phone and change the "Merge tabs and apps" to off.

I don't like it either, so much in your face and left screen burn in on my S4. Can't see a way of changing it but hope Google does something about it soon.

Meh...not so impressed really. Can't tell how long I've been off charger or what on screen time is since those features are gone, but battery life is definitely a bit lower. Not going to make it 12 hours with moderate use.

All in all I should've avoided that download as long as possible. My device had no issues before.

Really not sure why everyone was/is so anxious to get this upgrade.

Make sure to take a look at this thread, starting about post #82, then #84.

I was having the same issue when I updated, but now I'm back to 2.5-3 days battery life
