Sprint Orders Now On Back-order?

My status line is still empty on the "Check Order" page. I ordered within the 1st 5-10 minutes.

The Order History accessed through "View My Bill" says "Order in Progress."

If you sign into Sprint .com go to My Bill, Order History you see another Order Number and Processing for Status. This is normally the prefix for orders when shipped when I checked my past prders. So I hope they just switched from Preorder number to regular order number . they both can be pulled through MyOrder but neither have a tracking number as of yet. Preorder says Backordered , Order has no real info but product code is same on both

That appears to be correct. It shows a different order number in my order history.

LOL, good luck. They don't know a thing, and if they say they do they are lying.

I spoke with a general person early this AM, they told me to contact sales. Sales says the only thing they can tell us is to check back in 24 hours. They have no further information.

My experience with online reps is that when you are asking a general question, their typical response is to give you the answer that you want to hear so that they will get a higher evaluation when you leave the chat.

If these reps knew anything, and could tell us what they knew (like they are shipping today, tomorrow, etc.), then our statuses would say that.

Isn't 11:01 pm after fedex cutoff time? I assume if it goes out that late Tuesday next day won't deliver until Thursday....

As far as I know UPS is set to deliver the devices and when it comes to shipping to and from their main building it is ran 24hrs a day they get their packages unload it off the airplane send it through a computerized sorter load back onto a plane and send it to all its smaller factories then its the actual truck delivery which is what we will wait on for tomorrow and Thursday. I know a little about UPS because we watched a documentary over it this semester in College to see how efficient and organized they were.

hello all, if you go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1649164 you can see in a thread that sprint uses UPS for its shipping distributor. and as far as the shipping goes for us evo lte pre orders, in my opinion it will ship tonight, and be arriving between tomorrow and as late as saturday. also feel free to join the crew at xda, we are typing up a storm about the pre order ordeal, its under the general section, and the topic is pre orders begin shipping monday, im on there too!.
