Sprint Premiere Customers - Can we pre-order with Best Buy?

Just wonder, for current Sprint customers who are eligible for an upgrade, Can we get this phone by pre-ordering from BestBuy and also avoid rebates, And if we can, how will that work?

Will they somehow pull up our sprint account and go from there or is this option only for new customers?

Although I wouldn't mind purchasing it from Sprint, even with the rebate, I'm just afraid the online orders are gonna get pushed further back as they did with the Incredible.

Anyone ever done this before?

go to best buy's mobile phone website and check your upgrade eligibility. if it says you can upgrade go for it.

And it said I'm not currently eligible although on Sprints site it says I am, Regardless it say I will be eligible on May 1st. As long as its in time for the Evo.

Interesting site. It says the ine I'll be getting the Evo on is not eligible but the date says it is. DOH!
I had a minor problem with BB in Dec. when I went to purchase a phone a was told I wasn't eligible. I called Sprint and they said I was. I was already on the way home went back the next night and everything went through no problem.
