There's a post on the main page that says Lollipop for non Sprint Spark S4s is released.

The version number is L720VPUGOD2.

I don't see it on Sammoble yet.

Anyone see this yet?

I'm on a Verizon S4, and received Lollipop this afternoon. My wife is on a Sprint S4, and still waiting; probably will happen soon. With Lollipop installed, my home screen and keyboard definitely look much better. So far, I'd say it's all pretty good, though time will tell as I start using it and discovering its other goods and bads. Hope you guys here get Lollipop soon.

OTA is always haphazard. The tri-band version is also out, but again it's not being pushed in all markets at the same time.

Well, since this is the SPRINT Galaxy S4 Forum, it is safe to say that I am with Sprint. My cell is SPH-L720, and I just received Android 5.0.1

Thanks. You are the first one with my model that has posted here about getting the OTA.
It's encouraging that it is finally showing up.

So far, I have run into only one "glitch". I had Tiny Flashlight app on my phone and had to remove it. For some reason or another, the phone kept thinking that the app was on all the time and it was draining the battery at an alarming rate. I have a Sedio extended battery, 4500mah capacity. Now that it is removed, it's better. The only concern I have is that the new OS seems to be very hard on the battery. It seems to be draining it significantly faster than with the old OS, but the actual consumption listed in the system is actually lower. So, there is something going on here that I cannot figure out. There are also a few apps (games) that seem to run "glitch", I will be uninstalling them and reinstalling them. That may cure it.

So far so good. It seem to be running quite well. Battery drain is kinda weird. Candy crush is sluggsh. Most all other apps run fine.

Are you the only one who has the OTA?

Still not seeing it on my 2 S4s.

How about some more people describing their experience with this upgrade?

I have the SPH-L720 and I got the 5.0.1 lollipop update a week ago (June 5th). The battery life does seem worse, though it was pretty bad to begin with, esp. since I'm used to the LGG2.

Otherwise, I'm happy with the update. Mostly I just prefer Samsung's take on material design to the bubbly, cartoonish UI of S apps in KitKat. Some consider the color scheme garish, but I kinda like it. Using Nova anyway.

I thought the update would never come, but sure enough, I got it. I suppose they're just rolling out OTAs very slowly and cautiously.

Woke up to see that Lollipop is ready to install on my phone, could be a good morning will see. I live in the southern part of Arizona. My model number is SPH-L720T the Spark S4

I got the update (Software Version L720VPUG0D2, Android Version 5.0.1) last Friday on my Samsung Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720) with Sprint, Eastern WA area

A few issues I have had so far.

1. The option to set the phone to Vibrate, if you long-press the power button, isn't there anymore, if you long-press the power button you get Power Off, Airplane Mode or Restart but not the Mute, Vibrate and Sound choices you used to get. Now you have to unlock the screen, open the settings and scroll through the Sound, Mute and Vibrate options to get what you want. This went from a simple 2 button press to a much more involved process.

2. The option to preview text messages, "Preview message", on the lock screen no longer works. Yes, you can turn on the new notifications via "Notifications on lock screen" but I don't want to see all of my notifications on the lock screen and going through the settings for each app is a pita. Also, with the "Notifications on lock screen" turned on the "Owner Information" personal message is no longer visible on the lock screen. I have changed the settings, saved, changed the settings back to what I want, saved, wiped the cache partition and rebooted several times in between all to no avail.

3. The cell carrier name in the upper left hand corner of the lock screen instead of the notification icons is a pita also. I don't need to be reminded who my carrier is, I'd much rather know what notifications I have.

4. It took me some time to figure out how to get my widgets back that were removed with the update. The widget options are no longer available from the "Apps" menu. You have to long press a blank spot on one of your home screens to get the "Widgets" option.

Other than the above everything has been good so far. The update took some time but went smoothly. I do like the quick camera access from the lock screen, I have been waiting a while for this option.

The MAJOR glitch I see is that the Ringtone volume changes to about 25% volume, even though I set it to 100%. Additionally some of my apps disappeared.
