Sprint S8 software update

I just received this last night and it was a large file of 344mb. I checked in settings and I'm still on 7.0? Did anyone else get this?

I got an update on my Note 8. It was about that size and included some bug fixes and the October security patch. We also finally got Calling Plus. It was probably similar minus the Calling Plus.

Yep, this is normal. This type of update is called a 'Security Patch' If you look under "About Phone" you should see a menu item that says 'Android Security Patch Level". The closer you have to the actual date now the better.

As the member above me said, the update probably also included a couple extra Samsung features and bug fixes to make the device perform better.
