Is there a way to remove the logos without damaging the glass? It would look so much better without them, especially when the screen is off.

I definitely would not try it, but I believe there is a way to remove the paint, however, I don't believe the logo is on top of the glass though. I could be wrong of course.

No one puts a logo on the glass. That is just ridiculous. I don't understand where or how you came to that conclusion.

Thanks, yeah, I had a feeling that was not going to be a viable option, just curious.

Are you sure the logo isn't on the top layer of glass?

I coulda sworn i read a article about the Samsung Captivate and how they were working on a type of solution that could dissolve the AT&T and Samsung logos on the screen.

I also remember something being sad about this...

Yeah, XDA or one of those forums was trying to figure it out. There's probably a thread.

All in all, I personally would not risk this. I'll stick with the logo and get used to it. I like hardware modding, but not without proper instructions and equipment. Besides, this sounds a bit too advanced for me.

Good thread - I am not a fan of how much real-estate that flippin' logo is taking (nor am I thrilled about looking at it when I watch stuff).

That Samsung for you! I remember watching a show where they were drilling for oil and they went to Samsung for parts. Guess what you see first? A FREAKING ENORMOUS SAMSUNG LOGO going across several buildings!

Actually Sony does. As I know every Sony smartphone has film installed with logo printed. I think it would be nicer if I can remove the Samsung logo on my phone. solid black like Nexus
