Sprint Tmobile

I bought a used T mobile phone, a note 10 plus 5g. I'm currently a Sprint customer. When I went to swap over, the Sprint representative said it wasn't compatible. I didn't realize some Sprint phones and T-Mobile phones aren't compatible with each other. Am I Sol? I can return the phone. Just wondering if anyone came across this issue. I called T-Mobile and they said I could try to get the phone unlocked. Any suggestions?

That's odd -- I thought all Sprint stores had officially changed to T-Mobile. Their store and nametags all still say Sprint?

Just to be sure, can you tell us the exact model number of the phone? Look under ​Settings>About Phone.

Sprint customers are merged with Tmobile so you shouldn't be seeing any sprint stores, for the phone you mentioned is Tmobile which will work , the device isn't unlocked? Where did you buy it from?

Are you certain it's a T-Mobile phone, and not from AT&T or another carrier?
