Sprint version Note8 I am not able to snap a picture while recording

I have the Sprint version of the Note8 and was wondering if anyone else is having that issue. My other half has the ATT Note8 and he has those capabilities.

Below is a screenshot of what see. No option to take a still picture to the right

Try to restart your device to see if that works. Also make sure that all of you samsung apps are up to date. I am on AT&T and mine also has the option to take a photo.

What resolution are you recording in? Photos might not be available at certain resolutions

Just tested my Verizon version, photo option is not available whole recording at 60fps, but is there for everything else

Thanks. I changed the recording from 60 fps and now it is there.

PHEW!! This one scared me, pretty much the only way I get any decent pictures of my daughter is by taking snaps while recording video.

Another work around I've used is to record the video and during playback pause and take a screenshot. Ended up with some pretty good pictures that way
