Sprint vs AT&T

So I am on an old employee account with Sprint, unlimited data is the main reason I stay with them, but my HTC One M7 is needing to be replaced badly. I stream a lot of podcasts and audio books which I don't bother to download and play. I don't use wifi at home because, well why should I?

I want to upgrade my mobile experience, Android of course, and am all excited about the LG v10. But Sprint won't be carrying it. My wife is an AT&T customer and adding another line to her plan and bumping up data use along with me changing my wifi habits will save us enough money to have switching make sense with a few changes in my mobile habits.

So any suggestions as to why I should or should not stay put with Sprint? And thank you in advance.

If it will save you money I would say to switch. I stay with T-Mobile for unlimited but that is because my main usage is at work -- and we have the worst wifi imaginable. If I was in your shoes and could be okay with limited & wifi -- I would do it.

Most likely you will experience better coverage with AT&T than Sprint, especially if your wife has no complaints about the coverage.
I recently read a comparison of the LG v10 vs. the LG G4. Perhaps you should google that before committing to the v10.

I was using Sprint in the Seattle area up until about 3 years ago and they never had very good LTE service here. I waited and waited but nothing. So, I switched over to AT&T and have been very pleased with both their cell service and customer service. In my area, I get great cell coverage throughout the state as well as fast LTE. So, I think it really depends on where you live/work/travel when deciding on a carrier. AT&T seems to always have the best and latest phones available, and they always have great promotions. I'm currently on a Family Shared Plan where myself, wife, and daughter all share 15 GB of data (along with an iPad and LG Tablet). No issues.

Yeah att coverage should be a lot better overall. There are exceptions depending on area where Sprint could be better but from my experience att coverage was much better.
