So Sprint says in any way they would try to terminate my service when I brought up this issue. There needs to be a middle ground.

My service was just dropping out and couldn't even load pandora. I called and was confirmed they were working on cell towers in the area. My point, I can barley use my cell phone, and I was confirmed by an employee who slipped and said they were being compensated for the time bein. Customers are not.
Sprint I like the over plans and everything, but the coverage during the cell tower working is horrible. 45min phone call and had 5 drops.
I mean, there pretty secretive about the whole thing when you reach certain customer service centers.
I should be compensated.

I would check with Sprint , to see when your service goes out and interrupted like that.

I called a sprint repair store to ask if they were working on cell towers, and he said that they were where in the area and my connection should be better afterwards. Explained I wanted to be compensated if my calls where being dropped so much and couldn't even load Pandora. And the guy aka employee said he was bein compensated, try calling customer service. I got nowhere

I asked for like a discount or something, and I mean , my service is horrible.

Employees are getting discounts, when I called a local Sprint store, he said his bill was discounted during the period of the time. Not customers. When they work in cell towers

You need to keep calling it depends on who you get I called every other day for about 3 weeks before I was finally giving a 65 dollar credit, my advice stay on them! I know of other people who has compensated as well!

I have and like I've probably called multiple times to multiple call centers. Especially, one in Colorado,US guaranteed me I won't till after any repairs on towers. Im in New England. I'll keep trying, I <3 my Sprint plan. But a little lean way would be nice. My battery needs the life,as well. Keeps getting sucked dry looking for service. But works amazing when in coverage area.

Yeah I called twice about how I was dropping calls and the 1st time I got a $30.00 credit and the CSR said she would submit a ticket because there were some tower outages. This was back in early July, and well ,service has still been bad.I called about a week and half ago and the and told CSR that I was still dropping and missing calls. The rep gave me a $20.00 credit, looked up where I live and said there some sort of issue in my area, and again wrote up a ticket.

At this point I was mad because I felt that I was not getting the service I was paying for. Forget the LTE issue, I just wanted to be able to make and receive calls. I was arguing with this CSR for 15 minutes and she basically said her hands were tied, nothing she could do.

So basically I'm locked into a contract with lousy service on top of no LTE. I know I'm beating a dead horse here, because this topic has been discussed to death.Really the only thing I can do is tell people who are interested in going over to Sprint is to do their homework before jumping over. Hopefully by the end of the year I can look back on this and chuckle, but at present I'm not laughing.

When I call the Sprint stores they also told me that I would be compensated for the time the towers are being worked on as well and still nothing and I have been calling for over a month, I live in Ga and service is terrible here. They sent me a signal box to try to make up for the lowsy coverage but I still can't get any type of LTE service at all and 3g is not that fast, there are times when I can't even get on Facebook unless I turn on my Wi-Fi.:thumbdown:

The tower down line is just that...a line. It's rubbish just to get you off the phone.

I doubt calling a store will get you anything. I'd call Customer Service. If the CSR can't help you, I'd ask for the Supervisor. If the Supervisor won't help, I'd asked for "Account Services" becasue you're considering cancelling your contract if you can't get good service. That will get you forwarded to the Retentions department (without raising flags by specifically asking for "Retentions"). It's their job to keep customers. They definitely have the power to help (they can do almost anything) and are usually pretty good about offering you something. Hopefully you can get something worked out with them.

FYI, it's better to go through this process than to call retentions directly because the more people to talk to, the more notes will be in your file about your dissatifcation with the service.

They can't do the credit in most stores. You do have to call cs. Employees have to go thru the same process as normal customers do for credits like these. I've had to do it twice this summer.

I'll make sure to let everyone know the outcome. If I haven't responded yet, It's because am still working on the issue.:p
