Was wondering if our evo's will work on sprints new 800 frequency or evdo rev b that they are possibly switching to in a month or so? I read about this somewhere, where the speeds will be much faster for downloads, and possibly do voice and data at the same time.

Just curious.

I wonder if that will be an issue for us down the road?.
My data speeds on 3G are terribly slow as it is here in the southern suburbs of Detroit.

Stopping by the Sprint store today to check the new phones that have come out. Maybe mention this to the Sprint reps.

As far as I know thyme only two that will support the new frequency is the Evo 3D and Galaxy SII.

If you're in a 4G area you do voice and data at tye same time. And it won't be a problem due to the fact that tthey would need to give everyone that has a og evo an evo 3D, and they don't want to do that...so it won't effect you
