Do you use any of these? I am new to android so I am not sure how much of a concern there is for these items. I would also think it would be a huge battery drainer. Thanks

I have tried all of them (almost) except kapersky. Here are my thoughts.

Avg: nice that it scans all files instead of just apps. Scans are quick. Catches system settings vulnerabilities. Definition updates are automatic. Bad that location device does not work, it uses alot of battery, clashes with night clock donate app.

Dr web: good that it also scans al files and updates are automatic. Battery use is low. Bad, scans take up to 4 hours (yes, 4 hours) . No location services in version I tried.

Norton: Nothing good about thus one. Shuts off ringer, sends all calls to Voicemail, randomly blocks text messages.

Netquin: Good that it scans all files, battery use is light, locations service exists (bit is not very good) and has lockout and other security features. Bad is that virus definitions must be manually applied and location service consists of only returning the rough gps coordinates to the phone that send the text message.

Lookout: this one is my pick. Good: best of all virus definitions that are automatic. Location service shows coordinates on map. Website login and control to find phone. Very light battery use. Premium let's you lock and wipe phone and check permissions of apps. Bad is only that it does not do a full file scan.

So there you go, the quick rundiwn if android anti viruus.
