"Stagefright 2 vulnerabilities are triggered when crafted MP3 audio or MP4 video files run on Android handsets."

Google was notified about this on August 15th and has patches on the way. I hope Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and others get it out quickly.

I wish there was a legal obligation that fined the carriers for not rolling out critical updates that are announced and fixed.
