I switched over feature phones to galaxy nexus 1.5 years ago and I considered myself a heavy user. It is beautiful because it allows me a lot of options.For me that's great, it can truly go the extra mile. My daily usage on it: browsing webs with chrome, listening to music with Poweramp, lots of texting because it's muchcheaper than calling and also chatting online with Hangouts or Skype, etc. So... I've tried a lot of things to improve its battery life, following tips in many forums, installed related apps like Juicedefender.
The battery life just fine could easily through one day if not using it hevily if I knew I am going to have a long heavy working day, with my first mpj5000mah extended battery, usually last 1+ day with 5+hrs on screen time. I once updated my stock system to 4.2 then soon revert back to the previousversion because of horrible battery drainage! 12 hrs on battery withmoderate use, 64~% lost, while with 4.0.1 it easily last all day even with stock battery.
I use my galaxy nexus for all of its capabilities, justlove it still after all of these months. I am not ashamed to say I would feel totally lost without my nexus!
